This is a antique or vintage glass desk top Ink Well with an ink pen. The ink well is marked Germany and the pen American Pencil Co. The glass base measures approximately 8-1/8" x 6-7/8" and it has an ink well in the middle which is made of a non-magnetic metal and measures approximately 2-3/4" x 2-3/4" x 2". It looks like there may have been a glass insert but I am not positive and it has a lid that closes. It has two brackets to hold a pen and a fancy decorative rail which all these pieces are non-magnetic also. The glass has no chips or cracks and the pen may not be the original but this is still a very nice piece so please look carefully at the photos and email me with any questions prior to bidding.
