A limited edition copy of this work, with only three hundred and fifty copies printed for sale. 

George Engleheart was one of the greatest English painters of portrait miniatures and miniature painter to George III. This volume explores his largely forgotten work with a biography written by his great grandnephew Henry L. D. Engleheart. 

Illustrated with a frontispiece and sixty-two plates and in text illustrations. 
Collated, complete.


CONDITION

In the publishers original cloth binding. Externally, very smart with some marks to the boards and spine and fading to the spine. Bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Library stamp to the front free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound with bright and generally clean pages with some scattered spots.
