A collection of nine short stories by Walter de la Mare, including Mr. Kempe, Missing, The Connoisseur, Disillusioned, The Nap, Pretty Poll, All Hallows, The Wharf, and The Lost Track - six of these stories were previously unpublished.
The anthology includes some of de la Mares best horror and supernatural stories.
All Hallows, which is included in this collection, is known as one of the best subtle psychological horror stories ever written.
Walter de la Mare was a notable poet, best remembered today for his works for children, and Memoirs of a Midget.
CONDITION
In the original publishers quarter cloth binding with paper to the boards. Externally, with a tide mark to the head of the boards and spine. A few other lighter marks to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Textblock unopened.
