This isa one of a kind hand made brooch by the French atelier "Fabrice" founded by Jackie Riss in the 1960s in the Saint Germain area of Paris.All of her pieces are unique or very limited (thecurrent website seems to have just two of each design) using resin, glass,mixed metals, mother of pearl, coral and other stones.This is a mixed metals "lady" out for a walk with a large carved brown wood umbrella. There are currently two figural brooches on the Fabrice website, priced 310 to 330 Euros ($347-$370 US), see last photo, not included. Neither are as nice as this one.There are currently eight different Fabrice broocheson 1stDibs, priced between $300 and $495.I am also listing a half dozen other broochesincluding a clown/Pierrot and flowers, purchased by the seller at Fabrice in Paris inthe 1980s.

Significant flaws not depicted in the photos are describedhere-with, minor flaws and normal wear are not. Unless the item is described asnew, assume there will be minor flaws or wear commensurate with a used item ofgiven age.
