The patch on the jacket sleeve reads "PRLC SENIOR T.T. I.O.M.," which stands for Polo Ralph Lauren Company Senior Tourist Trophy Isle of Man. This patch references the Isle of Man TT (Tourist Trophy) motorcycle race, a tradition often associated with motorsport-inspired apparel.
I BELIVE THIS TO BE A VERY RARE AND, FROM WHAT I CAN TELL, PRETTY MUCH UNDOCUMENTED COLLABORATION BETWEEN THE SENIOR TT RACE AND RALPH LAUREN. I have had the jacket for over 1 1/2 years now and have spent countless hours researching and looking for some background information on it. I have only found 2 other places that had this jacket up for sale (both were old listings and no longer available). I have reached out to people with the Senior TT and Ralph Lauren as well but have not gotten a response from anyone. So if anyone has any information on the jacket, please feel free to message me even if you arent looking to buy it. I would appreciate it.

The jacket has been very well taken care of. There are no rips, tears, stains, snags, or any other major flaws on the exterior or interior. There are some "lines" (for lack of a better word) on the exterior of the jacket. Though I have researched thoroughly, I have found very little about this jacket online. But from what I can gather, I think this cotton is supposed to be waxed, and it needs to be re-waxed, and the "lines" are a sign of that. However, I am far from being an expert, so please use your own expertise and judgment before purchasing. The jacket originally came with a removable hood and a belt, but I do not have either one. The care tag says machine washable, but I did not dare put it in the washing machine for fear of causing damage. I did spot clean and refresh the fabric on the interior of the jacket, but I did nothing to the exterior Please see all photos for details on condition, and feel free to ask for more photos or information.
