DESCRIPTION: Vintage 1920s Jaeger 8 day automobile clock in very good working order

A very nice vintage 1920s Jaeger 8 day automobile clock. Regarded as one of the best automobile clocks that were ever produced the Jaeger 8 day clocks were used on a variety of the best English and European marques including the vintage Bentley, Delage, Daimler, Riley, Lagonda, Alvis, Talbot, Hispano Suiza, Bugatti, Vauxhall etc. This vintage Jeager clock is in very good original condition and is in good working order. The dial reads "8 Jours, Jaeger, Paris". The clock is wound up by turning the knob on the left hand side. The time is set by pulling out this knob and turning it. The clock has survived the years in good order. The beveled glass is in good condition. The aluminum casing and brass bezel are good with minor surface marks and wear. The hands are good and the face shows minor marks. While the clock remains in good working order we would recommend a professional clean and service as this clock would not have been serviced in many decades. The clock measures approx 3 1/4 inches wide across the face including the bezel.
