Up for sale is this amazing vintage Red Tag/small e Levi's blue denim trucker jacket from the mid 1980's/circa 1984. The model is 70506 and was made in Canada. This jacket is a men's 40. Levi's used numeric sizing until late 1980's/early 1990's when it transitioned to alphabetic sizing. This model has 4 pockets, 2 breast patch pockets and 2 side slit hand warmer pocket. If you count the opposite side of hand warmer pockets then you have 6 pockets and let's face it we've all put our valuables in those “inside pockets”.I've personally owned this since I was in college during the 1980's. I acquired it as a hand-me-down from an older sister who purchased it new a couple of years before when this particular jacket first came out. This jacket is in fantastic pre-owned (only 2 people) vintage condition! It has been in storage since... well I forget the year but it's quite a number of years but 20 for sure. It has not been worn in many years. The jacket itself is 100% cotton in that classic all American medium blue wash. Not too dark not too light which is my favorite wash! The jacket weighs over 2 pounds before it's packed so you know it's quality denim that hasn't been “watered down” like today's denim using thinner denim then filling in with polyester, and lycra. This model is a slightly slimmer fit than later versions of the mid 90's and early 2000's so bear that in mind when considering this jacket. Of course back in the 1980's clothing was slimmer cut to match our more slender figures. This jacket has been recently laundered. I didn't iron it but it's not too bad. It just needs some touching up.
