Presentation copy with authors inscription to the title page: "For Mr J. P. H. Dawson all good wishes - and congratulations on a splendid hotel. Peter George, 3: 1X: 65". 

This work was written by Welsh author Peter George and follows the aftermath of a nuclear war. This work was the last novel published by the author before his suicide in 1966.

In the publishers original cloth with the original unclipped dust wrapper.


CONDITION

In the publishers original cloth with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally excellent with slight fading to the spine and minor edge wear. The wrap is smart with very small closed tears and mild creasing to the head of the spine, fading to the spine, slight marks and edge wear. Light spotting to the verso. Presentation ink inscription by the author to the front free endpaper. Internally firmly bound with very lightly age toned and clean pages.
